So I have to say, these might be my favorite pair of ears that I have made so far. I’ve had this idea in my head since I made my very first pair and I just didn’t have time to make them until this past weekend, and I am so happy I finally had some time because I love how they turned out!
Here are the supplies you will need for these ears: 2 park maps, white foam, a headband, a bow, Mod Podge, a sponge brush, hot glue, and an ear template (I got mine here).
Trace two ear templates onto your foam and cut them out.
Trace the same template onto your map. Make sure to think about the positioning and what you want showing on your ears.
Cut out two ear templates from your maps.
Use the Mod Podge to glue the map to the foam. If the edges don’t totally match up, trim away any excess foam that might be showing.
Use the hot glue to attach the ears to your headband.
Then glue your bow to the center.
Here is the close up on each ear…
And there you have it!
I am pretty stoked about these ones and I cannot wait to wear them to the park soon!
