Spots to Try in the OC
As we come to the official end of our time living in LA, I’m starting to focus more and more on making our life here in the OC. Now that we are close to closing on our house, it’s time to turn our attention (and by that I mean, my attention) to finding the perfect place to live in Orange County. Right now we are mostly exploring different areas of Fullerton and Anaheim, and one of the musts on my list is close distance to cool shit. Preferably walkably close to cool shit. Even though our last house was just a short distance from all the happs in LA, it wasn’t walkable, and that is something I want to change when we find our next house. So part of my plan over the next couple of months is to scope out the hipsteriest places I can find, and look for houses around there! These are just a few of the locations I want to explore!
The Packing District in Anaheim is like hipster mecca. They’ve got a brewery and a wine shop and lots of fun food to try. This seems to be the Grand Central Market of OC.
Dripp Coffee in Fullerton seems like the kind of place I am going to love working. Hopefully it’s not over run with college kids!
Wine bar? Duh. I’m definitely looking forward to checking out the goods at Vino Nostra!
I’m pretty much always down for anything with “pub” in the name, so of course I’m going to check out Promenade Pub in Anaheim
Because you can never have too much coffee, right? Night Owl in downtown Fullerton is one of the go-to coffee joints in the OC so it obviously made my list.
Even though I am still adjusting to life in the OC, it gives me hope to know there are tons of great spots for me to check out as I make this new city my home!
