Inside the Park: Pressed Penny Locations Part One

Ever since I saw this amazing pressed penny jewelry over at Epot, I have been on a mission to create some myself.  In order to create pressed penny jewelry, you have to have pressed pennies, which led to my new mission: find and collect as many pennies as possible!  I am breaking this series up by land (and by park), but I hope to eventually cover all the pressed penny machines in both Disneyland and California Adventure.  Part One covers Frontierland, Adventureland, Critter Country, and New Orleans Square.

The shops along Frontierland’s main walk house several pressed penny machines.

You have Donald, Mickey, and Pluto in their Frontier wear…

And the girls in their Frontier wear…

And you have also have some pennies highlighting Rivers of America and the Mark Twain Riverboat…

In Pieces of Eight (the store near the Pirates exit), you of course have Pirate themed pennies…

In front of the Pooh Corner store there are two machines.

Both of these feature characters from Winnie the Pooh.  When I took these pictures, both machines were actually out of order so who knows if they will be there much longer.

And the last machine in our Pressed Penny Part One series is found at the exit of Splash Mountain.  Find this sign and follow the arrow…

…and you will find Splash Mountain themed pennies…

Start collecting those pennies (and quarters, each machine costs fifty cents) and stay tuned for the rest of our Pressed Penny Locations!
